This Institute of Business Management (IBM) running under National Institute of Management Training and Education (NIMTE) is unique because it is situated in the heartland of Mithilanchal. It is the dream project of Late Dr. L.K. Mishra, an educationist, a perfect administrator who has been Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, ViceChancellor of B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University and famous Principal of C.M. Science College, Darbhanga. The Institute has approval of AICTE and Affiliated to L.N. Mithila University. The region of Janak, Yagyavalk, Mandan, Maitri and Vidyapati is educationally fertile. Institute was started in 1980 taking into consideration how best to accommodate poor of the society as its fee structure is low. It is probably the second oldest Institute of Bihar.
